Been here a few times great accommodations and helpful friendly staff
I normally don't post reviews but had to this time after leaving this place with a bad taste in my mouth. So I will begin by saying this place is excellent if you want to stay in one of their cabins which are really quite nice. If you are a camper then forget it. They constantly try to up sell you to a cabin. Do not be fooled by the green grass camping areas on their website. These are of limits. When camping you are put onto a small rocky patch surrounded by colorbond fence. It actually resembles an old industrial estate gravel car park where they put the campers. No attempt is made to cater to campers, it is really set up for pushing you towards a cabin. I actually felt like they were purposefully treating you bad so you would upgrade to a cabin. I left feeling like a second rate citizen. After I said I was camping the attitude of the staff serving me also seemed to change. If you are travelling on the cheap then give this place a miss and keep driving. Which is a shame because Roxby Downs itself is a nice (very clean) town (i had a great meal in the club in town) and the quirky (in a good way) Opal mining town of Andamooka near by is definitely worth a look. Hope you guys improve your service for all types of travelers in future so budget travelers can enjoy this part of the country.

Fantastic cabins! The bathroom was very spacious and the shower was perfect. The room was air-conditioned and all the appliances and dishes were clean. The bed was comfortable and the television worked with a perfect picture.Pricing was good for the cabin you get, but are always changing, though the cabins are well worth it. I paid $149.00 for a 2 person cabin and feel it was well worth the money. It is a proper cabin, not a standard transportable.
